Cold Front

Last night, around midnight, a very sudden snow storm descended on Denver. I thought it was worth capturing because:

  1. We have gotten so little snow in Colorado this year.
  2. It was a weird storm—the snow was descending in little “pellets.” Apparently this is what’s called an ice storm—I’ve never seen one before.
  3. I happened to be out and about, and I need practice with my new digicam in anticipation of my upcoming UK/Ireland trip (I’m particularly interested in testing its low light capabilities).

So, for your viewing pleasure, some images of last night’s snow storm…
