Great app. Nice job. How about transfers from a PC formatted iPod to a new Mac (giving up on the Windoze world) ? Will that work? I suppose burning a disk and copying and authorization of the new computer would work, but PodWorks would be so much quicker.

Have to say I love PodWorks, great application.

I was worried when I read about iTunes 4.9 doing something new with the names of files when they are copied to the iPod, they change them to a four character name, instead of the old way of use using the name of the song. Glad to see that Podworks has no trouble at all with this new naming convention :)

Excellent work :)

Thanks for the update! I use PodWorks and recommend it to everyone with such a need for it, as it is my pick for the best iPod-file-yanking app out there.

Most of the work on the new database format in iTunes 4.9 has already been done: http://www.ipodlinux.org/ITunesDB
